Environmental management in the organized industrialregions and the case of İkitelli Galvano Technical Industry sites

In the thesis study, environmental management in the organized industrial zones was examined. In this context, waste, wastewater, emissions and occupational safety have been evaluated. Metal coating industry, which is one of the industrial activities, has an important place among the rapidly developing industries. In this thesis, which will discuss the metal plating sector, the processes that will be applied in the sector were examined and explained in detail. Emissions, wastes and wastewater resources of the facilities in the sample industry were determined and the wastes and wastes generated were evaluated in accordance with the measures taken and regulations. Information on prevention and reduction of hazardous wastes was given After the process of coating from the metal coating industry, the wastewater causing environmental pollution after the rinsing bath operation was examined. The wastewaters have been treated in the common treatment plant. The processes used in the treatment plant and the information on the discharge criteria were evaluated within the scope of the Water Pollution Control Regulation.
