Effect of organizational climate on employee motivation: Example of Adana restaurants enterprises

The thesis focuses on relationships between organizational climate and employee motivation, the relationship between organizational climate and employee motivation was examined with the application in restaurants. The study focuses on organizational climate and motivation. The factors affecting organizational climate and results of organizational climate have been evaluated. The concept of motivation is evaluated in various management concepts. Motivation theories are compared and the relationship between motivation and organizational climate are investigated. In the Empirical part of the study, the data were collected from restaurant employees in Adana using a survey method. The survey consists of two scales: 30-item Organizational Climate Scale and 24-item motivation scale. The data obtained from the participants were analyzed via IBM SPSS Statistics. Consequently, it was discovered that there was a significant relationship between the organizational climate, motivation and that the organizational climate affected the motivation levels of the employees in a way.
