Abstract (EN)
The concept of conflict that is often faced by organizations examined in this study. Firstly causes of conflict, solution techniques and benefits are discussed theoretically. Then the effects of conflict on individuals and organizations were investigated by an application on staff of the public and private four bank employees.While in the first part of the study, the meaning of the phenomenon of conflict, the evolution of development and the scope of conflict were emphasized, in the second part of the study, the main causes leading to conflict, positive and negative consequences of conflict were discussed. In the third part of the study, conflict management, coping methods used in conflict management and issues of successfully overcome the conflict were mentioned. In the last part of the study, the effects of organizational conflict on public and private banks were investigated by interview method.The research concluded that in public banks, the conflicts adversely affected employees and these conflicts were not well-managed by administrators. On the other hand it showed that in private banks, the conflicts affected employees positively and unlike the public banks, these conflicts were well managed by administrators
