Abstract (EN)
Creativity and innovation are concepts that are in demand by businesses and academics, as they provide businesses with a significant competitive advantage in the fields of products, processes, services and technology. However, models showing the cross-interaction of creativity and innovation with both individual and organizational factors are still limited in the literature. It is thought that this study will fill a gap in this regard. The aim of the study is to determine the direct effects of organizational support on risk-taking, creativity and innovation behavior, and the mediating and moderating roles of organizational culture in this relationship. In the research, it is also aimed to determine the factors that are most effective on creativity and innovation and to contribute to the literature on this subject. The data of the research were collected from a total of 739 administrators and teachers working in the private and public sectors in the province of Sakarya by survey method. As a result of the analysis of the data, it has been determined that organizational culture plays a mediating role in the effect of perceived organizational support on both risk-taking behavior and creativity and innovation behavior. In addition, it has been determined that organizational culture and different types of organizational culture have a moderating effect on the effect of organizational support on risk taking, creativity and innovative behavior. According to the results of the research, the factor that affects the creativity and the innovativeness most positively is risk taking behavior. Then, the market, the adhocracy, and the clan cultures come respectively. The hierarchy culture and the organizational support affect creativity and innovation behavior negatively.
