Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of organizational cronyism and the dark triad on organizational communication satisfaction within the framework of social exchange theory. For this purpose, research was conducted with 242 white-collar public employees in Kastamonu province. Exploratory factor analysis of the scales used in the research was carried out. In addition, the reliability levels of the scales were interpreted using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient. In the study, organizational cronyism and organizational communication satisfaction were evaluated on a single dimension. The dark triad is discussed as narcissism, machiavellianism and psychopathy. The findings obtained from the research showed that organizational cronyism affects organizational communication satisfaction negatively, while dark triad components have no effect on organizational communication satisfaction. The research contributes to the literature in terms of interpreting the relationships between related variables within the framework of social exchange theory.
