Abstract (EN)
Research; The aim of this study was to examine the relationships between organizational cynicism, organizational identification and turnover intention and to determine whether organizational identification has a mediating role in the effect of organizational cynicism on turnover intention. Since the research was carried out under the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, the data were collected by an online survey method with the participation of 356 healthcare professionals working in healthcare institutions and hospitals in Muğla. Analysis of the research data was made in SPSS 26 program. In the analysis of differences, the T test was used to compare two independent groups, and the ANOVA or Kruskal Wallis test was used to compare more than two independent groups. Relationships between variables were evaluated with Pearson correlation tests. Analyzes of mediation roles between variables were made in IBM SPSS Process Macro 4.1 application. As a result of the research, positive and significant relationships were found between the cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions of organizational cynicism and the intention to leave. It was determined that there were negative and significant relationships between organizational identification and cognitive, affective, and behavioral cynicism dimensions of organizational cynicism and intention to leave. In addition, it has been determined that organizational identification has a mediating effect on the relationship between cognitive, affective and behavioral cynicism dimensions of organizational cynicism and intention to leave. When the mediating effect of organizational identification on the relationship between organizational cynicism and turnover intention is examined, the findings show that organizational identification has a mediating effect on the relationship between organizational cynicism and turnover intention.
