Abstract (EN)

In addition to having a motivating workplace, it is possible for employes to show high performance in the workplace if their duties and responsibilities are clear. In other words, the most important factor that reduces the performance of employees is work motivation. An employee's work motivation at the workplace may decrease for different reasons, one of the important factors in this regard is the stress situation at the workplace. In this study, the relationship between organizational stress and employee mativaiton is discussed in terms of hotel employees. The scales in the data collection tool were applied to a total of 200 hotel employees. The data obtained from this study were analyzed in the SPSS program. As a result of this study, situations such as having children, being married, working willingly in the workplace wew observed, and it was determined that there were significant relations between the work motivation and stress of the employees. On the other hand, the relationship of employee stress on motivation was examined. While there was a significant inverse relationship between the stress level of the people working in the hotel and their extrinsic motivation, findings supporting other hypotheses were also reached.
