Performance evaulation on medium level administratives and a research towards on pharmaceutical industry

ABSTRACT In today understanding of managership / business administration, human function which lias the preliminary function among the basic functions that constitute administrating, has taken a place as a factor that designates the success and the failure of management.In this >oint of view, quality of labour force which the managements have and level of performance i ire the most important indicators that make the management reach to success.For this îDurpose the management have been executmg performance evaluation studies.As well as the iraditional methods among the methods of performance evaluation that are used for the performance evaluation studies, it is inevitable to use the methods of contemporary performance evaluation convenient for the conformation of managements. The management of wage-salary, the management of career, determining the requirements of education, decision of dismissing, need for rotation make the performance evaluation activity that has an efficient role in making organizational decisions obligatory element for all industries. Medicine industry because of the human factor that is an important criterion, is an industry Sector which needs to be taken pains, too. Our goalis in this study, to present the personal views and opinions of medium level director working in this sector concerning the performance evaluation and to direct the required studies. Because of the these reasons, in this study taken up, performance evaluation approach has been examined and according to data of chamber of industry of Istanbul for the year 2001, performance evaluation practices of 12 great medicine firms taking part in 500 great industry iirms have been investigated.In the light of these findings I tried to make some comments on this issue and propose.
