Abstract (EN)

Organizational life, which emerges with people working together, has given rise to many problems with it. Nowadays, the most important one of these problems that engaging organizations is mobbing. With the tightly development of legislation in the workplaces, direct exposure to physical attacks to employees is prevented, but it revealed that one of the the psychological attacks ways of the modern era attack. Previously, the only method of psychological intimidation was the one that was applied by superiors to subordinates, in progress of time it has diversified as the same psychological implementation between employees and applied by subordinates to superiors. Increasingly diversified events of mobbing in the workplace has led to a decrease in productivity. The struggle with psychological intimidation which infects with the organization such as a virus and which destroyed the work atmosphere of the organization has become more and more burning. Nowadays, a lot of teachers are exposed to the psychological intimidation. The improvement of working conditions of the teachers who are employed by the National Education Institutions as one of the Public organizations is important for future generations to be healthy. The teachers that interact directly with the students and as a model for their students must have the best work environment both physically and spiritually. The performance of teachers working under unhealthy conditions and high tension is reduced and they can not work effectively with students. This, in turn leads to the formation of an ineffective society. The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions the teachers working in secondary schools about psychological intimidation and to identify if these perceptions vary in some variables. The data is collected by a questionnaire prepared by the data source of the study. The questionnaire was implemented to 312 teachers working in secondary schools under the Ministry of Education in the province of Diyarbakir. The data collected through questionnaires was coded and tabulated values of the data by the statistical program SPSS. According to the survey, the teachers working in secondary schools have low levels of perceptions of psychological intimidation. Education has been found to be effective in detecting the status of mobbing. Between psychological intimidation and sex, marital status, seniority, as well as other variables, a significant relationship could not be found.
