Abstract (EN)
In the present research, it was aimed to determine the levels of chemistry literacy of secondary school students and to examine them in terms of various variables. The study was conducted according to the survey model. The population of the study consisted of secondary school students studying in Diyarbakır province. The research sample was determined as 617 students. "Chemistry Literacy Scale" developed by Meydan (2022) was used as a data collection tool in the study. When the findings of the study were examined, it was concluded that the chemistry literacy of secondary school students was above the middle level. There was no statistically significant difference between the chemistry literacy levels of male and female students. Class level, chemistry grade point average, and parent's education level were found to be variables that created a significant difference between the chemistry literacy levels of the students.
