Abstract (EN)

Human beings need a belief in order to make sense of their existence in the world. The most important factor for him to have faith is that he was created as a being with reason and will. Human beings are distinguished from all other created beings by their intellect and will, and this distinction imposes certain responsibilities on them. In Islam, a person must be of sound mind in order to be considered responsible. For this reason, the person with reason must also place the religious knowledge he has acquired on a sound basis in his mind. The process of processing this information and placing it in the mind in a healthy way is a process that begins with the birth of the person. In this thesis, the problems that middle school students between the ages of 11-14 may encounter while trying to place this information in their minds in a healthy way and the effects and contributions of the family and other institutions that provide religious education on the imaginations in the child's mind were discussed. The results of the survey research conducted with the participation of 444 students in 3 districts of Antalya province in order to determine the conceptions of middle school students about the principles of Islamic belief in their minds were evaluated within the framework of Islamic theology.
