The development of football from the last periods of the Ottoman Empire to the Republic period (1900-1923)

With the declarationof the Constitutional Monarchy in 1908, many more football teams such as Turkish sports clubsBeşiktaş,FenerbahçeandGalatasaraywereestablished.WhenitcomestotheRepublicanperiod, it is seen that sports clubs take an active role in the federation, as can be seen all overEurope, where the Turkish Football Federation was established in this period. Football hasgained a place and developed in the country as it is indisputably the most popular sport in theworld. Football is a sport that has a very important place and profound effects in today's world.To consider football only as a sport would be to ignore its internal dynamics. Football hasbecome an important subject that needs to be examined due to its impact on the masses, its widecoverage in media organizations such as newspapers and television, and its bringing togetherpeoplewith differentculturesandeconomicstructures.
