Body morphlogy of opiliones Egaenus convexus (Koch, 1835) and Odiellus lendli (Sorensen, 1894)

Morphological charecteristics are crucial in classification of opiliones. Microscobic examination is imperative in order to identify significant systematical and taxonomical charecteristics of specieses of opiliones. In the present study, two specieses of opiliones were inspected with respect to their morphological charecteristics such as chelicerae, pedipalp, body morphlogy, ll. leg and penis. Morphological structure of ventral spur and sensilla located on general chelicerae segment. Morphological structure of tuberculate structures, sensilla and claw located on both leg and pedipalp segments are also inspected. In addition, morphological structures of tuberculate and sensilla located on body dorsal line, and penis are also examined. In this study, morphological charecteristics of two members of Phalangidae familia; Egaenus convexus (Koch, 1835), Odiellus lendli (Sorensen, 1894) were examined using scanning electron microscope.
