Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of self-sensitivity, resilience, psychological well-being and self-efficacy on nurses were investigated. In addition, the mediating role of psychological well-being and self-efficacy in the effect of self-compassion on resilience was also investigated. For this purpose, data were collected through a questionnaire applied to 447 nurses selected by simple random sampling method from private and public hospitals in Osmaniye. Confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlation (relationship of scale scores), independent groups t-test, one-way ANOVA test (comparisons according to demographic characteristics) were used for data analysis. In addition, the bootstrap technique and Structural Equation Modeling were used to test the hypotheses of the model. As a result of the analysis, a significant relationship was found between self-compassion and psychological resilience. However, no significant relationship was found between self-compassion and psychological well-being and self-efficacy. In addition, similar to the literature, it was concluded that there are positive and significant relationships between self-efficacy, psychological well-being and psychological resilience. As a result of the mediation analysis, it was found that self-efficacy and psychological well-being did not have a mediating role in the effect of self-compassion on resilience.
