Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to bring the Uzbek folk literature ceremonial songs performed in childhood rituals to Turkey Turkish, specifically, the two pieces of Uzbek folk, Oy Oldida Bir Yulduz and Boychechak. Therefore, the pieces, were translated to Turkey Turkish. When the concepts of ceremony, ritual and song in our study are examined separately, it is seen that each of them can be the subject of independent studies. Therefore, each of these concepts was briefly mentioned to provide preliminary information. After these brief briefings, Uzbek folk ceremonial songs, which are the main subject of our study, are limited within the framework of ceremonial songs performed in childhood rituals and classified according to their transitional periods. The verses sang in the rituals performed during the transition periods from infancy to circumcision (for boys) of the individual were classified under separate subjects. Under these subjects, the song texts their Turkey Turkish translations were included.
