Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine the effects of the training program given to adult women on the perception of psychological violence against women. In the study conducted, a pre-post test study design was used. A total of 40 women in the 25-40 age group were included in the study. Women participating in the study were trained on gender roles, violence against women and psychological violence for two weeks. During the data collection process of the study, a personal information form and a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher were used. Chi-Square analysis was used in the SPSS 25.0 program during the analysis phase of the data obtained. The significance level was accepted as 0.05. At the end of the study, it was found that there was a significant increase in women's perception levels of gender roles and psychological violence against women in parallel with the training program implemented. In this context, studies can be carried out to inform women about psychological violence and gender roles in order to minimize psychological violence against women and to increase their knowledge level on this subject.
