Comparing job satisfaction of private and state school teachers

One of the most important researches in organizations is to determine the job satisfaction ofstaff, and to take measures in order to increase it through motivation which results inimproving the quality of the product.The most important income and outcome of educational institutions are students. If the jobsatisfaction of teachers is high, then their relations with the students will naturally improve,this improvement will result in a higher motivation to execute a better job and moresuccessful students.Scientists have developed several tests to measure the job satisfaction of staff. In thisresearch, ?Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire? and ?Demographic Information Form?have been used.This investigation is based on the differences between job satisfaction of private school andstate school teachers changes according to their ages, teaching experience, sex, and their levelof education.The arithmetic average of answers of the questions, the arithmetic average of answers ofinternal and external job satisfaction questions, and the average of the answers of eachquestion are compared according to the variables which are defined above.It is stated here that factors mentioned above affect the internal and external job satisfactionlevels negatively, and advised some measures to increase the job satisfaction of teachers hasbeen proposed at the end of the investigation.
