Abstract (EN)
In this study, common numbers of irrigation unions established to operate in Kırklareli province, irrigation areas, forms of irrigation status, service ethics villages, equipment status, equipment needs, number of employees, basic problems related to cooperatives were investigated. The obtained data were transferred to QGIS, a free GIS software and data maps were created. In addition, land classification maps of the study area were prepared with the CORINE project. With this study, the current situation of irrigation cooperatives in Kırklareli province has been observed and a database has been created for the possible researches.
