Abstract (EN)
In this study, the moisture content and hydrophilicity of the towels woven from cotton, bamboo and hemp fibers was investigated comparatively. In the woven towels, by changing woven construction was also examined in detail, the amount of moisture held and hydrophilicity by the fibers inside. The towels were weaved by weft density as 16 yarns/cm and 17 yarns/cm in 350, 400, 450 and 500 gsm They were tested under suitable conditions and the current moisture content and hydrophilicity. They hold on to them has been reached. As a result of this study, the amount of moisture holds and hydrophilicity on towels from bamboo fibers than cotton and hemp and the towel from hemp fibers is more than the towel from cotton. it was observed that the woven weft density also affected the moisture content significantly. The result was some for the towels from all of three fibers. The amount of moisture holds and hydrophilicity on to towels with 16 yarns/cm were more than 17 yarns/cm.
