Occupational safety of health workers and affecting factors during the pandemic process

This research is a descriptive and cross-sectional study conducted to evaluate the occupational safety and the factors affecting the occupational safety of the health workers. personnel. The data of the research was collected with sociodemographic characteristics, the perception of risks and dangers arising from the hospital working environment, health conditions, working conditions, occupational health behaviors and Health Worker Safety Scale (HWSS) with questions including health questions by applying the questionnaire under direct observation. Whether the data were normally distributed or not was decided with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one-way analysis of variance ANOVA for the mean of more than two groups from parametric tests in terms of CDS scores within the data with normal distribution, and the significance test of the difference between the two means to compare the mean of the two groups, t-Student. More occupational safety training should be given to male healthcare workers who do not use personal protective equipment, do not receive occupational health and safety training, have a chronic illness, are considering quitting their job, and are desperate for their future.
