Abstract (EN)
Regression analysis is a statistical method used to explain the effect of two or more independent variables on the dependent variable. In this study, the regression method that will be used according to the condition of assumptions is emphasized. The least squares method, semi-parametric and non-parametric regression analysis methods are used. The operators used in these methods are explained. Nadarya-Watson estimator and Bernstein polynomial are studied. Bernstein polynomial is a special regression model among nonparametric regression methods. Finally observed in the study Covidien Turkey-19 data were analyzed using Bernstein polynomial.
