Abstract (EN)

The competitive environment and conditions in the markets are changing day by day and competition is increasing. Increased competition means that organizations should achieve the highest performance from their human resources. In addition to the need for human resources, human resource strengthening practices are considered necessary. Maximum benefit from human resources will be achieved and the turnover rates of the organizations will decrease by providing personnel strengthening practices and increasing organizational commitment. Strengthening practices are effective on employees, therefore affect organizational commitment. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of personnel strengthening practices and organizational commitment on the turnover rates. In this study, literature search and survey application were conducted. According to the results, personnel strengthening practices and organizational commitment show positive and negative interaction. Our results show that the personnel strengthening practices are directly proportional to positive organizational behaviors and inversely proportional to negative organizational behaviors. These results and literature search were obtained through the employees of one company and it constitutes the limitations of this study. As a consequence, with the increase of positive organizational behaviors, employees' loyalty to the organization will increase and the employee turnover rates will be reduced.
