Abstract (EN)
Employee empowerment has become a very important issue with the assumption that the most important capital of today's modern organizations is human. The view of the human being as the most important capital has changed and the value given to human resources has increased. The fact that the employee feels free and strong in the organization and can make decisions has a direct impact on the success of the organization, which is one of the main goals. The fact that the employee feels strong and free in the working environment is known as a factor that increases job satisfaction. However, the level of power and participation in the decisions required for the employee to be satisfied with the job is also very important. With the pandemic period, the importance of those working in health complexes is gradually being understood. When the personnel empowerment and job satisfaction literature is examined, it is seen that there are few and insufficient studies on these concepts in health complexes after the pandemic. Therefore, the aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between employee empowerment practices and job satisfaction of health workers operating in health complexes. In the research, firstly, the concepts of personnel empowerment and job satisfaction were mentioned, and then the relations between these concepts were examined at the organizational level. After obtaining the necessary permissions to conduct research within the scope of ethical rules, 400 questionnaires were distributed to health workers in the health complexes in Osmaniye using the convenience sampling method, and 370 questionnaires were returned. Since there were no missing answers in any of the returned questionnaires, the study was continued with these questionnaires. Within the scope of the analysis of the obtained data set, reliability analysis, correlation analysis to examine the relationships between variables, and regression analyzes to find the effect between variables were used. When the results of the research are examined, it has a positive effect on employee empowerment and job satisfaction (p<0.05). When Table 18 is examined, it is seen that there is a moderate positive relationship between personnel empowerment and job satisfaction (r = 0.581). According to this result, it was observed that as the level of employee empowerment increased, job satisfaction increased. Keywords: Personal Empowerment, Job Satisfaction, Healthcare Professionals
