Philosophy of mind in Ibn Sina

The aim of our study is to expose the ideas of Ibn Sina, who has left his effects on the Middle Ages with his thoughts, on the subject of mind which is still being dealt in order to give meaning in today's world. Ibn Sina managed to develop a unique system on this subject by being affected both his predecessor philosophers and his religion in which he believes. Our study consists of introduction and two main sections. In the introduction part of our study, apart from the main information such as the subject, the purpose, the method, etc. the nature of the mind, philosophy of mind as a philosophy discipline and the philosophers from whom Ibn Sina was affected or the philosophers who were influential in that period, were told about their views on the philosophy of mind. In the first chapter, after giving a general information about the mind-body relationship of the philosophers from whom Ibn Sina was influenced, the powers of human soul, mind and the powers of mind were explained. In the second part of our study, the function of mind is explained by the basic concepts given in the first chapter. In this respect, according to Ibn Sina, the structure of the mind and mind, the process of formation of knowledge in the mind and the mind's connection with active mind, the ideas about the revival of Ibn Sina in the after the death of the body were evaluated. Our study resulted in the evaluation of Ibn Sina's philosophy of mind in the conclusion part.
