Behavioral effects of Pinus brutia Ten. (turkish pine) essential oil on scopolaminated alzheimer type demantia rat model

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of the most common and popular forms of dementia and is one of the neurodegenerative diseases progressing over time. Although important features related to pathophysiology have been identified, the exact causes of AD are still not fully understood. In this age, we do not provide a definitive treatment for AD. Determination of the effects of Pinus brutia essential oil on AH model by using many tests will add a new vision to our country in the field of health and alternative medicine and contribute to the evaluation of natural resources. This study in Turkey, "Turkey and the world as well, naturally occurring pine as last P.brutia created with the essential oils of scopolamine in animals suffering Alzheimer type dementia rat model of neural, behavioral effects were investigated. The effects of P.brutia essential oil on behavioral symptoms such as memory disorders, anxiety and depression which are the most important symptoms of AD were investigated. The mandatory swimming test was used to test the effects of P.brutia essential oil against depression-like behavior caused by scopolamine. P. brutia essential oil may provide clues and benefits for the treatment of an Alzheimer type dementia model.
