Abstract (EN)
Plastic injection method is an important production method for polymers and composite materials. The effects of production parameters during plastic injection and the amount of fiber in the composite on mechanical properties are important. The effects of plastic injection parameters and the ratio of fiber in composite on the tensile, bending and impact strength of fiber reinforced polyamide were investigated. Composite samples with 15%, 20% and 30% glass fiber were prepared within this concept. Injection pressure, and melting temperature were selected as injection parameters. In conclusion, the tensile, impact and bending strength were increased by increasing the amount of glass fiber in the composite. In addition, increasing the temperature that is one of the manufacturing process parameters when the pressure is high during injection whereas high injection temperature results in high tensile strength in the samples produced at low pressure.
