From the perspective of positivism seeking for national integrity in Polish literature

In this study, it is examined how the positivist perspective in Polish Literature had an effect on ensuring national integrity. In the first part, the process that Poland went through until the beginning of positivist literature is discussed. In the second part, the enlightment and romantic thinkers and thoughts in Europe, which also affected the literary and thought movements in Poland, are discussed. At the same time, the positivist perspective that emerged at the beginning of the second half of the 19th century is discussed. In the third chapter, the cultural and political policies of the Russian, Habsburg and Prussian states, which were common in the positivist period, as well as the social conditions and social formations of the Polish society are examined. In the fourth chapter, the stories of Polish positivist writers Henryk Sienkiewicz, Bolesław Prus and Eliza Orzeszkowa are examined and the positivist understanding in Polish Literature is discussed.
