Abstract (EN)

This thesis explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Human Resource Management (HRM), focusing on its applications, benefits, and strategic implications for organizational performance. In light of the continuous growth of AI technologies, their use in HR functions-including recruitment, performance management, decision-making, and administrative efficiency—has been on the rise. This research is epistemologically qualitative and literature-based in nature, relying on the analysis of secondary data from academic journals, industry reports, and expert opinions to assess the effects of Al-based instruments on HR practices. It outlines the principal areas where Al can improve HR operations, such as automated recruitment procedures, candidate selection, cost reduction, increased employee engagement, monitoring of realtime performance, and enhancement of organizational agility. The results indicate that AI not only supports HR personnel in data-driven decision-making but also fosters higher levels of employee satisfaction and productivity. Nevertheless, despite the considerable benefits, the thesis also acknowledges ethical concerns, the need for transparency, and the importance of maintaining human oversight in Al applications. This research contributes to the existing knowledge in the field by condensing recent developments and emphasizing the importance of balancing technological advancement with ethical HR practices, offering valuable insights for HR professionals, policymakers, and researchers aiming to understand and leverage Al in future-oriented HRM strategies.
