Abstract (EN)

This This thesis has thoroughly examined the role of the TikTok platform in the reconstruction of social reality in the post-truth era. The findings clearly demonstrate how TikTok's algorithm-based content recommendation mechanisms influence users' perceptions of reality. TikTok facilitates access to content that distorts reality, enabling the rapid dissemination of false information and narratives. Discourse analysis has revealed how the language and symbols used in TikTok content contribute to the post-truth environment on the platform. TikTok has become a space where content creators manipulate reality to attract attention and involve viewers in this manipulation. This highlights the platform's power in shaping social reality. Furthermore, the thematic diversity of the content produced on TikTok and its impact on viewers are crucial for understanding the platform's influence in the post- truth era. TikTok not only gives viewers the power to redefine and reshape reality but also blurs the boundaries of this new reality. The results of this study clearly indicate that TikTok plays a central role in the reconstruction of social reality in the post-truth era, with far-reaching societal implications. In conclusion, TikTok has emerged not merely as an entertainment platform but as an active agent in the reconstruction of social reality.
