Colonized nations, like the colonizers, had beliefs, moral values and traditions. The colonizer who tried to convert the colonized into Christianity or modernism have received various responses and reactions from the colonized. The missionary activities have expanded and flourished due to the new conquests of colonialism. In some cases, missionary activities have pioneered the colonial forces in different lands, laying the ground for the invasions.Colonialism cannot be regarded as only a military occupation since it employs various discourses, secular or religious, to justify its domination. In the aftermath of the colonial era, imperialism carries on with its activities that deprive the colonized of real freedom and independence. Postcolonialism which confronts colonialism on various battlegrounds often keeps silent on the issue of the sacred and this creates a shortage of sources about this topic for researchers. The fragmented nature of postcolonial theory reflects its conradictory voices on this subject as well. There is not one singular, coherent postcolonialism and there are many different and even conflicting interpretations of each religion which complicates the subject further.The religions that are regarded as the property of history have reappeared in the conscience of individuals and societies as soon as the idols of modern dogmatism fell down and broke into pieces. In an unfair world, where the colonizers sheltered in the shades of the conversion activities of the missionaries, the colonized masses would attempt to reinterpret their religions and traditions to be inspired to rise up and fight for their dignity and freedom.
