Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted during the 2024-2025 growing season at the Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir AKÇİN experimental field of the S.U. Alaaddin Keykubat Campus in the Selçuklu district of Konya province, in the Central Anatolia Region. Three lentil varieties (Ankara Yeşili, Ceren, Yusufhan) grown in Turkey and registered by the Field Crops Central Research Institute, and five potassium doses (control, 15 kg/da, 20 kg/da, 25 kg/da, and 30 kg/da) were used as materials. The experiment was established on October 15, 2024, according to the Factorial Experimental Design with 3 replications. Among the agronomic traits examined in the study, the effect of potassium doses on the number of days to emergence was found to be statistically significant, while it was insignificant regarding other traits. According to the research results, as the average of the varieties based on potassium doses, the highest values were obtained as follows: number of days to emergence was 53.22 days with 30 kg/da; days to 50% flowering was 206.56 days with 25 kg/da; plant height was 17.31 cm with 15 kg/da; first pod height was 7.09 cm with the control group; number of main branches was 2.20 per plant with 15 kg/da; number of pods was 7.47 per plant with 15 kg/da; number of empty pods was 3.45 per plant with 30 kg/da; biological yield was 1.94 g/plant with 30 kg/da; harvest index was 23.14% with 20 kg/da; thousand-grain weight was 23.14 g with 20 kg/da; and grain yield was 0.43 g/plant from the plots where 20 kg/da potassium was applied. As the average of potassium doses, the highest values obtained from the varieties were as follows: the longest days to emergence (52.13 days) from Yusufhan; the longest days to 50% flowering (205.47 days) from Ceren; the tallest plant height (16.96 cm) from Ankara Yeşili; the highest first pod height (7.04 cm) from Ceren; the highest number of main branches (2.12 per plant) from Yusufhan; the highest number of pods (6.97 per plant) from Ankara Yeşili; the highest number of empty pods (3.16 per plant) from Yusufhan; the highest biological yield (1.87 g/plant) from Ankara Yeşili; the highest harvest index (23.87%) from Ankara Yeşili; the highest thousand-grain weight (72.67 g) from Ankara Yeşili; and the highest grain yield (0.44 g/plant) from the Ankara Yeşili variety.
