Searching the response marker presence to treatment at the eeg which was led before the ect at the patients with the psychotic disorder and depression

At the present day,electroconvulsive therapy is a treatment application that has been used in the psychiatric diseases such as depression, psychotic disorders, mania and some nörological diseases.Its effect mechanism is preciously unknown.There is an achievement between % 50- 80 on the patients whom this process were applied.Nonetheless, it has serious side effects such as cardiovascular disorders, bone fractures and dislocations, confusion, delirium and memory disorders. Mortality that related to electroconvulsive therapy is 1/ 10000 patient.The determine of the patients who will benefit from ECT and will not benefit from ECT will be important, because of to maintain this patients from ECT? s side effects and unnecessary ECT applications.For this purpose, we analysed the patients? s electrpencephalographies which are suffered before ECT at the ECT has been applied patients with Fourier analysis and various algoritms.We searched whether is there a semantic parameter at the electroencephalographies of the patient groups that benefit from ECT and didn? t benefit from ECT.With Fourier analysis; the electroencephalographies which are suffered from the patients whom didn?t benefit from ECT have beeen analiyesed but a common parameter couldn? t find.The electroencephalographies which are suffered from the patients whom benefit from ECT have beeen analiysed but we couldn? t find a common parameter.The symmetry between the right and the left hemisphere is analiysed on the electroencephalographies that are suffered from the patients whom benefit from ECT and didn? t benefit from ECT, but we couldn? t find a common parameter.In conclusion, it was seen that whether the patients will benefit from ECT or will not benefit from ECT couldn? t be estimated with this study which was committed from the analysis of the electroencephalographies suffered before the electroconvulsive therapy.
