Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT In today's world, competition among businesses has begun to manifest itself more intensely on both national and international levels. While competition was previously more limited, it has now adopted a boundless and infinite structure due to technological advancements and companies' aspirations to operate in international markets. In such environments of limitless competition, the ability of businesses to sustain their activities healthily is only possible through the implementation of appropriate strategies. This study aims to investigate the relationship between competitive strategies and intrapreneurship tendencies in marble enterprises operating in the Western Mediterranean Region (Antalya, Burdur, Isparta). In this context, the relationship between competitive strategies and intrapreneurship has been explored through both field studies and a review of the literature. Within the scope of the research, white-collar employees working in marble enterprises in the Western Mediterranean Region were reached using the convenience sampling method. Employees were invited to participate in a three-part survey prepared via Google Forms. Data obtained from a total of 266 participants were analyzed using the Jamovi software, employing frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, t-tests, ANOVA tests, and correlation analyses. Correlation analysis was conducted on the collected data to test the relationship between competitive strategies and intrapreneurship. Subsequently, the sub-dimensions of competitive strategies (cost leadership, differentiation, and focus) were examined to determine whether they were related to intrapreneurship. According to the results, no significant relationship was found between competitive strategy as a whole and intrapreneurship. However, a statistically significant relationship was identified between the cost leadership strategy and intrapreneurship. No significant relationship was found between the differentiation strategy and intrapreneurship. Additionally, a statistically significant relationship was identified between the focus strategy and intrapreneurship. Furthermore, difference analyses (t-tests and ANOVA tests) were conducted to determine whether demographic variables were related to intrapreneurship. Based on the results, statistically significant differences were found between intrapreneurship and employees' age, duration of employment, and years of operation. No statistically significant differences were identified between intrapreneurship and variables such as gender or the legal structure of the enterprise.
