Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the volume of international trade has increased enormously due to the effects of globalization and liberalization of trade which created both opportunities and threats. In this globally changing world, export?s static and dynamic benefits are vital for governments to reach long term sustainable economic growth and for firms to compete in this uncertain global environment. Therefore, the firms which desire to compete in the global market are obliged to implement dynamic strategies and action plans. Their action plan must include thorough analyses of the market dynamics to eliminate or minimize the risks while maximizing the opportunities. The main objective of this study is to analyze the Trade Risk (Delivery and Payment Risk) which are mostly encountered and more controllable by exporters in international markets. The field study will analyze Aegean Exporter Companies? perceived risk from international market and its prevention methods.Keywords; economic growth, export development, export risk management, risk management, delivery terms, payment terms, trade risk.
