Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the maternal anxiety of women in the high-risk pregnancy group. For this purpose; two volunteers who are over 35, at least four months of gestation, one without medical support, the other with in vitro fertilization, were included in the study as samples. Two psychoanalytically oriented semi-structured clinical observations, which last four and six weeks, and interviews were conducted with participants. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed by using thematic discourse analysis technique around the themes of motherhood, feminine, body perception, loss and anxiety. When the data obtained from the study were examined, it was observed that both participants who were in the process of pregnancy after the age of thirty-five, although having differences in their own subjectivity of being a mother, perceived their pregnancy as a late experience and had many concerns about age. It has been observed that the age-dependent limitation of the tests performed during the medical support process causes anxiety about the disability of the baby. It was observed that having a child for the first time raises intense concerns about the sex and care of the baby. It was also observed that the change in body image during pregnancy also caused anxiety not to be liked by the spouse. Keywords: Risky Pregnancy, Motherhood, Feminine, Anxiet
