Abstract (EN)
The Ukrainian territory, which includes Crimea and which is one of the most important geographies of Eurasia in line with its geopolitical importance throughout history, has been the scene of protests along with the processes that developed with the Orange Revolution and the Square events in line with the intention of 'Europeanness'. These developments resulted in the intervention of Russia, which is shown as the biggest responsible of the process, first in Crimea and then in Donbas. Again, the Russian Security Strategies behind these developments constitute the main subject of this research. This new security strategy of Russia, its causes and consequences are discussed, and it also consists of how the prioritized topic should be limited, determining how the topic will be prepared, creating a temporary plan and bibliography, and finally the stages of reading, taking notes and writing the study. has arrived. In addition, in order to understand the issue of Russia's occupation of Ukraine in more detail, it is appropriate to first briefly touch upon the processes of evolution from principalities to Empire in terms of Russian history, the historical development of the Russian Imperial period, the Soviet period that emerged with the February and October revolutions in Russia, and explain from the very beginning the relationship between Russian foreign policy and Russia-Ukraine. It was thought that it would happen. In this context, the Russian foreign policy of the Soviet period, which came with Lenin and changed and sharpened with Stalin, was examined and especially the Soviets' Ukrainian and Eurasian policies were emphasized in this period. In order to examine, research and understand Russia's occupation of Ukraine in more detail, the policies of the Gorbachev government, which brought the end of the Soviets, and the reasons for the collapse of the Soviets that came with it, have also been the subject of examination. In addition, the policies of the Yeltsin period, which took power after Gorbachev, and the destruction it caused in historical Russian foreign policy and the transformation in Russian foreign policy were also discussed and the problem was subjected to a historical analysis. The time period of the analysis begins with the historical development of Tsarist Russia and covers the period between the Ukrainian Crisis of the Putin era and the present-day Ukrainian Crisis, which worsened with Russia's military intervention first in Crimea and then in the east of Ukraine. However, within the framework of Russia's Eurasian policy and the transformation and change in these policies, the new security strategy developed in the context of the Ukrainian occupation has been researched, examined and tried to be revealed.
