Abstract (EN)

Safiye Erol (1902-1964), one of the most important figures in modern Turkish literature, has an interest not only in literature but also in philosophy. In Safiye Erol, the integration of philosophy and literature, Sufis and philosophy follows the philosophical meanings in his works. The concept of human beings centered in his works and in the world of thought has become one of his most important themes. Because man is an entity that seeks meaning. The only entity that will initiate the search for meaning and continue this action is only man. It is possible to see Safiye Erol in moves in the world of ideas. In Safiye Erol, examining the movements of human existence means invoking both the idea of the modern period, the philosophy of man and existence, as well as the relationship between literature, philosophy, and Sufis.
