Performance based supplementory payment system in which conditions and criteria are determined by Ministry of health is distributed to the staff based on principals identified by legislations. The aim of this system is to ameliorate the healthcare and to promote qualified and productive labor offer. Performance based supplementory payment system is a system where the proportion, order and principles of the payments' of health institute' s revolving capital is determined. The objective of the study is to put forth the effects of the performance based additional pay system on the quality of hospital services from the healthcare workers' perspective. Beforehand, literature studies regarding performance, performance evaluation, performance based additional pay system of the Ministry of Health, quality and health services quality were conducted. The questionnaire was conducted as a face to face interview. Suggestions regarding these findings have been presented.
