The relationship between organizational justice, job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion in healthcare professionals

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the relationship between health workers' perceptions of organizational justice and their levels of job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion. The research was carried out with relational type and survey method. The sample of the study consists of 400 health workers working in İzzet Baysal State Hospital located in Bolu Province. 'Demographic Information Form', 'Organizational Justice Scale', 'Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale' and 'Emotional Exhaustion Scale' were used to collect research data. All data were analyzed and analyzed with IBM Statistics version 22. Pearson Correlation analysis was used to reveal the strength and direction of the relationship between organizational justice, job satisfaction and emotional burnout levels of healthcare workers. At the same time, multiple and simple regression analyzes were used to reveal the predictive power between the variables. The t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used in the intergroup comparison findings. When the research findings were examined, a positive relationship was found between organizational justice and job satisfaction, and a negative relationship between emotional burnout. A negative significant relationship was found between job satisfaction and emotional exhaustion. As a result, while organizational justice increases in health workers, job satisfaction increases and emotional burnout decreases. As job satisfaction increases in healthcare workers, emotional burnout decreases.
