Abstract (EN)
Health workers are making some malpractice during medical interventions. The malpractices are often occurred by carelessness, inexperience, or ignorance. The burden of overwork, stress and long working hours are also the major factors in the occurrence of malpractice. Malpractices; it does not only affect the employee and the patients but also The institution, where the malpractice was occurred, loses so much social values such as trust. One of these losts is institution reputation. The reputation of the institution is not easily established besides it can be obtained after a long and difficult period. This reputation can be lost over time due to continuing medical faults and sometimes it can even cause closure of institutions The reputation of institutions is not independent of employees moreover the greatest contribution to the establish of corporate reputation is provided by employees. For this reason, the contributions of employees to the institution should not be ignored. The study consists of a compile of information obtained from literature review. In the first part of the study; the responsibilities of healthcare professionals related to their profession have been mentioned. In the second part, the concept of malpractice has been mentioned and its reasons and results have been examined. In the third part; the concept of reputation has been examined and evaluated aspect of conceptual framework. And, the concept of institutional reputation and the concept of reputation in health services have been mentioned.
