Abstract (EN)

The relationship between field tests and laboratory tests, which are widely used in sports fields, has been a matter of curiosity by researchers and coaches. In this study, the relationship between the field-based jump tests and isokinetic muscle strenght parameters in licensed football players aged 20-30 (n=10) were examined. Participants were applied to double and dominant single leg vertical jump, standing long jump, pentajump tests and 6 and 20 repetition isokinetic muscle strength tests for dominant leg knee extensors and flexors at angular velocities of 60o/sec and 240o/sec. The relationship between the jump test results and the isokinetic muscle strength parameters as a Peak Torque (PT Nm), Relative Peak Torque (PT/kg Nm/kg), Peak Work (J) and Peak Power (Watt) were evaluated. A statistically significant relationship was found between PT and PG values in flexor muscle strength properties and dominant leg vertical jump at 60o/sec angular velocities (p<0.05). A statistically significant correlation was found between 60o/sec angular velocity extensor muscle strength PG values and dominant leg vertical jump values (p<0.05). A statistically significant correlation was found between 240o/sec angular velocity flexor muscle strength characteristics as a PT, Relative PT and PG values and dominant vertical jump values (p<0.05). It was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship between the other jump tests and the isokinetic test parameters (p>0.05). As a result, as the angular velocity increased in isokinetic tests, the significant relationship between field based jump tests were increased. Also, the flexor muscle strength correlations were higher than the extansor muscle strenght correlations with dominant single leg vertical jump test values
