Renaissance elements in Said Havvâ's commentary el-Esas

Praise be to Allah, who made the renaissance of the Ummah the application of the Qur'an, strengthened it with effective oratory, explained its way and method, and made it easier to understand his book through its scholars.One of these scholars is the author of al-Asas commentary.This work has come to the fore with the arrangement of the subjects, the explanation of the meanings of the related verses and suras as a whole such as a single sentence and a single parable.He called it the unity of meaning of the Qur'an.The author comprehended the subjects of the Qur'an as a whole, explained the relevance and meaning between the verses and suras, and then made a comprehensive interpretation according to their subjects.The author did not settle for a single subject, as the majority of other commentators who work on subject-centered tafsir do.Thus, those who read this commentary will be familiar with the subjects of the Qur'an and the ijaz of the verses.Tafsir, based on the integrity of the subject, explained the most important meanings, most important aims and objectives of the Qur'an. My work in this thesis has been to examine the verses that built and explained the Islamic renaissance explained in this tafsir.These explanations are; It has been enlightening the minds guiding past and future generations and a solid and impenetrable stronghold against the successive intellectual attacks that wanted to cast doubt on this religion and stumbled upon its renaissance.In this study, it is aimed to discuss the most important renaissance elements in order not to prolong the subject and to give summary information.For this reason, social, economic, military and political elements are discussed.
