Abstract (EN)

This study is a transcription of works named "Ravz-ı Verd, Tertib-i Nefîs," of Şâkir Ahmed Pasha who lived in 18th century. In his work named Ravz-ı Verd, he renders each name in Esma-i Hüsna. He explains names by using three couplets for each. He prescribes when and how many times the names should be read. He writes some verses in Arabian and some in Persian in his poems. It is understood that the artist has a good mastery of Arabian and Persian languages. Tertîb-i Nefîs, which is the other work that we study on, gives informations about suras in Quran. He explain each sura under the different titles by using three couplets for each. It is about how many versicles the soras consist of, the benefits for individuals in case of reading at the proper time. It is possible to see Arabian and Persian verses as in Ravz-ı Verd. He uses controversial point of views about soras. He writes these views in Arabian prosaic way.
