Sufism (islamic mysticism) in the five works of Samiha Ayverdi

Sâmiha Ayverdi, who belongs to our old period of writers, witnesses the establishment of Turkish Republic along with the collopse of the empire.She lives the periods which are the milestone of social life in the first view.It is true that social changes are painful.For the sake of the adoptation to new, Sâmiha Hanım tries to mention about the grieves of old periods which has been destructed mercilessly.Ayverdi,who knows that the dilemma of tradition and modernism don`t lead to society anywhere , drops the mask on the face of cultural degeneration and calls the society to save their values.when it comes to Sâmiha Ayverdi, everything in mind is wiped except national conscious and love. If we consider her in the dimension of sufism (islamic mysticisim), we encounter with love in each line. Ayverdi who assumes the love as the nature of the existence of creation gives her pen under the command of unification.This unification is inspired by love.Partly integrated with history consciousness ,unification brings to light both a historical and mystical dimension of cultural heritage.
