Abstract (EN)

This work; Kastamonu-Taşköprü-Sarıseki Cu mineralization and related metasedimentary rocks cover the investigation of the geological features. The study area is located within the Jura-aged Çangaldağ Metamorphic Complex in the Middle Black Sea. Phyllite and chloritchists, which have undergone low greenschist facies metamorphism, constitute dominant lithological units in the study area. Limonitization, silicification and hematite are common alterations in phyllites and schists. Mineral formations such as malachite and azurite in the oxidation zones are observed as traces of mineralization of the mineralization. Observation of massive pyrite laminations in phyllites and the presence of chalcopyrite minerals between pyrite grains and massive sulfide mineralization were observed. Findings obtained as a result of splitting and soil geochemistry studies on the alteration area (mineralization features, ore and side rock relationship, ore properties) indicate that the copper mineralization of Sariseki is a massive sulphide mineralization which is settled inside the sediments. The copper mineralization of Sarıseki displays similar features to the Besshi-type Solid Sulphide deposits, such as Hanönü, Cozoğlu and Zeybek Cu deposits discovered earlier in the region.
