Seleksiyon ile belirlenmiş Ege bölgesi kestane (Castanea sativa mill.) tiplerinin anaçlık özelliklerinin belirlenmesi üzerine araştırmalar

-ı- öz Bu çalışma, seleksiyon ile seçilmiş bazı kestane tiplerinin anaçlık özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile 1996-1998 yıllan arasında yürütülmüştür. Bu amaçla, Ege Bölgesi'ne ait yedi ilden toplam 21 adet kestane tipine ait tohumlar materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu tiplere ait tohumlarda çimlenme ve yetiştirilen çöğürlerde gelişme ile ilgili bazı değerler saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, aşılamaya gelen kestane tiplerine ait çöğürler, T-göz aşısı yöntemi ile aşılanmışlar ve aşı kaynaşmasının anatomik ve histolojik gelişimini incelemek amacıyla 30, 60 ve 90 gün sonra enine kesitler alınmıştır. Kestane tiplerinin tohumlarının çimlenmesi, çöğürlerinin gelişimi ve aşılama ile ilgili tüm kritelere ait değerler esas alınarak, veriler "Tartılı-Derecelendirme" yöntemi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Tiplerin aldıkları toplam değer puanlarına göre, 3501, 3203 ve 4501 kod numaralarını taşıyan tiplerin aşılı kestane fidanı yetiştiriciliğinde anaçlık özellikleri açısından en iyi sonuçlan verdikleri belirlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Kestane, tohum, çöğür, anaç, seleksiyon, anatomi ABSTRACT This study is carried out to determine the rootstock characteristics of some chestnut types obtained by selection between 1996-1998. With this purpose, seeds taken from totally 21 chestnut types from seven provinces belonging to Aegean Region were used as production material. Some criteria were determined on germination of seeds and on growth of seedlings belong to these types. Further, the seedlings belonging to the types that were proper for grafting were budded by T-Budding Technique and the cross-sections were taken to investigate the graft union as anatomically and histologically at three different times, that is, 30, 60 and 90 days after grafting. The overall data were evaluated by "Weigthed-Rankit" Methods based on the values of the all criteria that belongs to germination of seeds, growth characteristics of seedlings and budding of the seedlings of the chestnut types. According to the total value scores that the chestnut types took, it has been determined that the types that have 3501, 3203 and 4501 code numbers gave the best results in terms of rootstock characteristics in growing of grafted chestnut seedlings.
