Şemşettin Ünlü his life, his work and literary personality

who was bom in Harput in 1928 could take his own place in Turkish Novel History, working the history of the city that he was born in and lived duning his youth from the nineteenth century in his novels. Şemsettin Ünlü whose novels- named Durur Bakar Ibrahim (1977) Dirlik Düzenlik Türküleri - are publushed by Yeditepe Publishing House, became widely known with the publication of his novels. The names of his novels are these: " Yukarı Şehir" "Toprak Kurşun Geçirmez" and "Yüz uzun Yıl". In his novels Şemsettin Ünlü deals with the social condition of Harput where had been wars and crisis betwen 1856 and 1908.HİS novels consist of the love stony of Yusuf and Hermin. We intend to bring up. the literary personality of Şemsettin ünlü and to find out his place in Turkish novels with the analysis of these novels which we had done.
