Abstract (EN)
Especially in recent years, the use of synthetic cannabinoid (SK) has become increasingly widespread and various psychological problems have emerged due to this substance dependence. In this study, which was prepared considering the reasons for SK addicts to ignore the damages related to substance use, it was aimed to reveal the relationship between the profile characteristics and psychological factors related to dependence. The population of the study consisted of patients over 18 years of age who were admitted and referred to BAYAMER (Addiction Management and Rehabilitation Center) until October 2017 in Küçükçekmece district of İstanbul. The study sample consisted of 66 participants who were enrolled in BAYAMER. In the BAYAMER database, information about the age, gender, marital status, duration of addiction, number of psychiatric treatments and the number of substance abstinence as well as the BAPI Clinical Form (BAPI-k) form were recorded. According to the findings obtained from the research, dependence severity factors explain 23% of the variance of the excitement search behavior. However, substance use characteristics reduce the excitement search behavior as the single most effective factor determining thrill seeking behavior. According to another finding, addiction severity factors account for 28% of the variance of impulsivity. According to this, the diagnosis decreases impulsivity and the severe desire increases impulsivity. According to the latest findings of the study, dependence severity factors explain 19% of the variance of anxiety. However, none of the independent variables affect anxiety alone. Keywords: Addiction, synthetic cannabinoid, BAPİ.
