Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to use brick floor ash and marble waste, which are substituted separately for cement and limestone, which are valid in the formulation of the tile adhesive mortar, as alternative raw materials in tile adhesive. Marble wastes from marble quarries and production facilities are partially reusable and most of them are disposed of in the environment. There are many scientific studies conducted in the industry for the reuse of wastes of different sizes. It is aimed to reduce the industrial prescription cost of marble waste and brick floor ash to be used in this thesis. Workability, shear, crusting, correctability, tensile strength and water retention tests were applied to the recipes prepared with four different components. In the obtained data, only the open time determination tensile strength for component 3 was found below the desired value in the recipes prepared with components 1, 2, 3 and 4. In addition, the slip values were found below 0.50 mm in the recipes in which the components were used. A significant increase was observed with the addition of brick bottom ash in component 3. According to the data obtained, no significant differences could be obtained in the chemicals used at the rates determined. In the experiments performed with C1TE Class Ceramic Adhesive, the amount of water, viscosity, initial adhesion strength, adhesion strength values after immersion in water were in the range equivalent to the standard, and the achieved viscosity values were above the reference value. Adhesion strength after heat aging is lower than the desired value for components 2, 3 and 4, and the adhesion strength after 30 minutes of open time is reference.It was below the desired value in all components except for component 1. The XRD results of the components were compared.
