Thesis subject: Seyfeddin el-Ebheri's explanation on Ibn Hacib's summary, authored by Imam Seyfeddin Ahmed el-Ebhari el-Shafi (d. 800). My thesis is the investigation and analysis of a part of this footnote (from plate 48 to plate 97). The purpose of this thesis is to reveal the importance and significance of this footnote. What distinguishes this footnote from other footnotes is that it corrects and captures the words of the commentator and explains the meanings that remain hidden. Because the annotator is one of the students of the commentator. One of the important features of this footnote is that it mentions the objections to the explanation and the answers to these objections. The fact that it was one of the most important procedural sources of its period after it was written differentiated it from other footnotes. Because it contains many sources before it, it has become almost like an encyclopedia of methodological fiqh. These reasons mentioned above led us to investigate this book. In particular, the fact that we found the best, oldest and most valuable copies of the book in the world in Turkey and that it has a special place for scholars, especially Shafi'i scholars, played an important role in the investigation of the book. It is hoped that with this work, the footnote will come to light again in its new form and become usable.
